Janet Keller on 11/26 reported via eBird: "Large flock of pelicans soaring overhead, moving Southwest from [Oakhurst Forest Preserve area]."


Barb Rask on on 11/17 reported via e-mail: Not the best photo, but in Jon J. Duerr F.P. today at 3:00pm, saw this Pileated just north of the bridges on the bike path.

Glenn Perricone & Donna Kubik on 11/17 reported via eBird: At FermiLab, a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. "Non-breeding plumage grosbeak with a hint of rose-red in the edges of the breast, ruling out BHGR [Black-headed Grosbeak]. Seen at ed center feeders"


Mary Burr on 11/12 reported via e-mail: Dozens of Sandhill Cranes heading south over the east side of St. Charles this morning at 10:30 am.
